  1. the seed of your future or your potential for new life and renewal of spirit, the feelings you have about starting something (especially a long-term project) or entering a new phase of life
  2. a call to stay patient with a process of growth or a project in which you are involved, a reminder that given enough time an acorn can be transformed into a huge oak tree
  3. a representation of your ego and the enlightened Selfhood into which it can be reborn, using the analogy that acorn is to oak tree as ego is to Self
  4. an acorn is the "nut" of an oak tree, hence it may indicate a part of yourself that you categorize as "nuts" or crazy
  5. your sense that someone else could be mentally unstable, and your feelings about and association with this person
